Can someone please let me know how the electric is running over there for a 2 bedroom? I understand that it depends on how you use your electric, but I also understand that the apartment is ALL electric and that is a concern for me. The electric bill can make or break the budget-friendliness of the apartment, so I would appreciate any info you are willing to provide

Thanks, that's what I was afraid of, however in light of the recent tragedy I think I have more than that to be concerned about :(

Please know that you can only get energy assitance from social services if your income is really low. My bill was really high because my heat was broke. I went to them to get help and they said my income was double the maximum. I only make $37K so dont count on that. I think the maximum you can make is like $1100 gross... I have heard of Salvation Army helping people though but you dont want to move in basing it on that.

It is HIGH. I love my apartment but like you said....because everything is based on electric, it will be pretty high. My bill in the summer was like $100 (and that was if I cooked). Winter was off the hook. Like $200. This is the only reason I had to move. I could not do the electric bill and the rent with my income. So I moved.......

you can get energy assistance from social services and your bill will be like $20-$30...also I know that sometimes if your bill is way too high that you can't pay it...catholic charities will pay it for sometimes. Catholic charities are great! They gave me 3 brand new cribs for my babies. I also try to make an effort to make it to church because I don't feel right "using" them and not thanking the Lord for it.
