I wanted to get my own apartment for the first time, as a graduate student. I wanted something affordable but yet still safe! My questions is, Are there any mice or roach's problem? Because i cant deal with that, the noise it's okay i wont hardly be home and just want to be comfortable...Please give me good a detailed advise on which building's or just run..

I lived in apartment 18 about 3-4 years ago. It was a 1 bedroom apt. with very unreliable parking. Sometimes I had to park clear on the other side of the building and walk. This may not bother you, but the parking lot is very poorly lit at night. The apartment I lived in had many many many many cockroaches, but they sprayed monthly and I never heard of anyone else have a problem as badly as mine. I had a couple of upstairs neighbors that partied and played LOUD music until morning, many nights. BUT, the rent was only a little over $300. If you can handle all of that for the cheap rent, go for it! But they DO have cockroaches in at least a portion of the building.
