How are the apartments?

The pros: The apartments are a good size and get a decent amount of sunlight. They seem like a pretty good deal when you have washer/dryer in unit and all utilities included. The cons: I don't know if it was limited to my building but we had a really disgusting rodent problem! No matter how many we killed they kept coming back. I couldn't take it anymore and finally moved out of the community all together. There were also little problems like the walls leaking when it rained and anything the neighbors cooked or if they smoked or whatever it comes through the vent system into your apartment; you smell everything your neighbors are doing basically. Really disgusting. Also the plumbing is horrendously loud to the point it will wake you out of a dead sleep every time someone, even in a different unit turns on the water. The toilets will get clogged even if you're not flushing paper down...which is kind of mysterious since they shouldn't do that. The washers and dryers are stacked inconveniently in a way that is such a pain to try to load the washer. The only person in the office who is helpful in any way is Wendy. She is very nice and tries to work with you to help a situation. Everyone else in the office has attitude problems and they don't seem like they give a crap about helping you out. They are lazy and rude.

Don't wast your time or your money....seriously! There are many more efficient places in the area. Just keep looking but I would not advise a Grady Management Property! There is just not enough up keep which really affects the residents. It may look pretty good before you get there but once you are in forget. I've had the same problems as the person who commented previously and not to mention insanely high electric bills $250 ones and that was freezing and taking my laundry to the laundromat - my neigbor hers were $400 in the winter. Tack that on to your rent which is already way too high for an old building, honestly it's gamble but I'd never go back unless the cut the rent in HALF!
