Does your apartment smell like smoke?

I have read reviews and some people write that they smell smoke in thier apartment from neighbors who smoke. I am a non-smoker who is looking to rent while in law school not far away. Some people are complaining about various other things can someone please shed some light on these complaints. Is it a good place for a single law student to live for at least three years maybe even longer. Thank you for any help.

I lived on a 2nd floor 1 bedroom apartment and never had any problem with the apartment smelling of smoke. I lived there for a total of 2 years with no problem.

Never had this issue at my apartment!

this backyard is nasty (this is not the only one) a pit bull lives here and the lease says no dogs more that 30lbs this dogs barks ALL the time and at kids too. Yards should be kept up with and its not. ( you cant see but there is dog poo everywhere).
