Does this facility allow small dogs? Is there a photo of the complex?

Asked 366 days ago

My son lives in the area and I am looking to relocate. I am on social secuirty and wonder if this facility is based on income.

Thank you,

Yes, but there is a leash rule. When you walk your pet, it must always be on a leash, and please use a pooper scooper. The facility is run by Salvation Army and subsidized by Hud. The rent is based on income. They pay the water, but we pay electric & gas. Contact them soon, because there is a waiting list.
They (Salvation Army) are building a new high rise, but it will not be ready for about 3 years. Also, there is another new high rise facility here in Tyler for seniors on hwy 31, but I don't know the name. I could find out, if you wish. It is not run by the Salvation Army, but rent is also based on income. Personally, I love it here. My own flower bed, and they do the lawn care. These apts. are 6 plexes in a long line. I don't have a picture, but if you ask them, I am sure they will send you pamphlet with a picture. You can also Google Earth the address. Hope this helps. Jean Lorance
