If I'm attending Duquesne University and need an apartment close to campus, where can I rent other than WP? I was going to sign a lease, but it seems absolutely awful.
Not sure what to do. Any advice appreciated.

There are lots of private apartments downtown. Honestly Duquesene University is right in the "ghetto" section of town. But apparently they are revamping the area. Check out the apartments right across the street umm... they are called Crawford Square Apartments. The CORK FACTORY is AWESOME! That is the in the strip district so its about a 10 min ride. But if I was to move to the city I would move to the CORK FACTORY!!! Some Pittsburgh Steelers live there. Also check out craigslist http://www.craigslist.com

You can always do a search on a rental website. apartments.com for example. Most websites allow you to search by distance. I can't imagine moving back into WP. Don't do it!
