Are the Villages of Sage Creek in foreclosure? Have they been bought by another management company?
I just signed a lease with them and they told me they were not. Any honest feedback from tenants that know any different would be appreciated. I love the location but if the management is bad I'd rather not be there.

Check your lease, or just ask. If it's owned by MBS management then you're in the wrong place. I hear they were bought by someone new, though.

They did tell me they were bought by someone else and the MBS was not on my lease, however, I read so much negative feedback on the place after I signed the lease that I don't know who or what to believe.
Thank you for your response.

I have been here for over 2 years and the complex has gradually gone down hill. There are many more complexes that care and give you a safe place to live. I hope you do your research before embarking on a bad experience.

I don't know who but know that VOSC was posted for foreclosure and then I think taken back by the Lender. By now the property has probably been sold to a new real estate investor but may still be owned and operated by the lender as a foreclosed property. If so, it will eventually be sold to a permantent owner.
There are now literally dozend of newer properties coming to the market in North Austin and I expect they are better managed than VOSC. If you want a newer version of VOSC and better managagent try Park at Brushy Creek located on Hwy 620 just east of the Hwy 620 split with 45. Same club and same original mgt company that VOSC had when it was first built.
