Against our better judgment, our son signed a 1-year lease here. He paid for his first month on Aug. 19, being told the soonest he could move in was Aug 22. Today he was told his first month was August, and his next months rent would be due next week. Is this a common practice, to charge a full month's rent for 9 days occupancy? Something just doesn't sound right.

They do that to everyone. They don't prorate it like other apts. do. It shouldn't be a common practice, but to get more info, look up the fair housing act from Fresno county and call them for an answer.

this backyard is nasty (this is not the only one) a pit bull lives here and the lease says no dogs more that 30lbs this dogs barks ALL the time and at kids too. Yards should be kept up with and its not. ( you cant see but there is dog poo everywhere).
