Because Riverstone (the apt. management company) is looking to get the maximum amount of money for the least amount of work. This is why they don't fix things on time and charge an arm and a leg to move out.

Because the apartments are way over priced, there aren't even any microwaves or ceiling fans, and the parking garage is a set-up to get robbed. Not to mention that none of the things I listed in the move-in inventory have yet to be fixed and I've been here nine months!

Same thing happened when we lived there. I had a kitchen drawer that wouldn't open and 4-5 vertical blinds that fell down, not to mention the fact that our shower wouldn't switch to bath. Get those things fixed while you're there, or they're going to charge you for them!
