Need to know what happens if I need to break the lease?
I am uncertain how long I might need to stay in an apartment. I'll sign the 12 month lease. But should I need to break it - say 6 months into it, what are the penalties? Is it forbidden to break the lease during certain months of the year? Is it okay to sublet?
Thank you.

There is not a lease break clause in the lease. So, if you were to break your lease, there are no penalty fees but you would be liable for the rent until the apartment gets rented again and someone moves in. There are no sublets allowed. If you find someone to move into the apartment, they would need to apply like all the residents do.
