I can't get my old apartments to respond to me at all

Asked 192 days ago

I moved out in october of 2007 and here it is april 2008 and I call and leave messages, I've dropped in to see the apartment manager, and I've sent letters and for the life of me i cant get any answer on my deposit or move out status. Help!!! I'm considering sending a return-recipt registered letter stating that I'm giving them one more week to respond to me via U.S. mail or I'm assuming that the apartment was left in perfect condition and I'm eligible for my deposit back. Can I do that

Did you provide them a forwarding address? I know that sounds silly based on the other ways you have attempted to contact them but it is an important detail. What happened when you went to the office to talk to the manager? In most cases anyone working in the office should be able to look at your ledger and tell you the status of your refund/charges.

I gave them my fowarding address several times, and when I call either they tell me they don't know,or they don't return my phone calls
