Has anyone else had trouble getting their security deposit back or been charged for damages they didn't cause?

I'm being charged for damages I didn't cause and I refuse to pay for something I didn't do and I would like to hear from anyone else who is being treated the same way!

Wow this really sucks. What are they getting you for? I hope things work out for you. I know when I lefted my first apt. they worked out a deal with me and what they wanted fixed or cleaned up. Good luck

My apartment was spotless when I returned the keys. There was no damage to anything. They did not charge me for damages or clean-up. I thought that was fair.

this backyard is nasty (this is not the only one) a pit bull lives here and the lease says no dogs more that 30lbs this dogs barks ALL the time and at kids too. Yards should be kept up with and its not. ( you cant see but there is dog poo everywhere).
