Questions about Sabine lofts, bus, transportation downtown



Does anyone know whether the bus system in back of Sabine Apartments (rear door, across parking lot where police park their cars in the day) is (1) convenient for use to downtown and back, (2) is safe to use if returning after 6 pm on any given day/or when it gets dark early? I am new to Houston and like the lofts. Anything else pertinent to leasing at Sabine? Is the dog park adjacent good for dogs of all sizes including little dogs? Is is possible to bike or walk to work in the summer heat or winter cold given it is so close to downtown? Anything I need to know about leasing there? Thank you so much
