I put in an application there today.. how bad of a deal am I really getting myself into?



We have been living at the La Costa Apts in Irving for about 10 months and it has been pure terror. We live in a 2 story town home that if you take a shower over 5 minutes the water leaks into our living room and they have supposidly fixed it 3 times. I viewed the property at Remington Hills and it really seemed like a nice area. Not allot of shady people walking around looking for cars to break into like where we are now. The whole high water bill and and electric bills I see you all talking about worry me. I know most people only get on here to complain I catch myself only leaving negative reviews and not leaving any about the good things. Basically what i'm trying to say is safety is my main concern. I'm a new mom with a 6 months old daughter and my boyfriend works nights with me being home all the time. Would this be a good friendly community for a young couple to raise a child for a year untill we can get into a house?
