Yes! It is bad. If you are looking for luxury, this is not the place. But if you are just looking for a roof over your head, I guess any place will do. For the money they are asking, there should be better security, groundskeeping, maintenance and office staff than what they offer. In my opinion, yes the reviews are accurate.

Red Run is horrible. Do not move there. All the ratings posted are true. I broke my lease to move out. If anything breaks do not expect the matience crew to fix it you will have to call them numerous times to even get them to come out and look at whatever is wrong. The office staff are the rudest and dumbest people you will ever meet and the grounds and buildings are dirty. For that cost of rent you can def find better in the area.

I enjoyed living at the apartment complex. I just had an issue when I moved out. They refused to return my deposit and blammed me for damages that were pre-existing. If you decide to move in there, i suggest that you do the following:
1. Make sure that you are moving into one of the newer buildings. The old ones have some issues.
2. Make sure that you do a thorough inspection of the apartment with an employee of the management company before you move in. Take detailed notes about any small stains anywhere in the apartment on the "move in inspection form"
3. When you do decide to move out, you MUST request in writing 2 weeks before you move out that a move out inspection is performed with you and a management employee.
4. Always keep copies of every single correspondence you have with the management company. They will try to screw you in the end.
I hope this helps!!
Good Luck
