The Management at Raritan Crossing, paints every apartment before a new tenant moves in. There for it is expected from the tenant (by the lease) to return the apartment to the landlord, in the same condition and color as it was delivered to the tenant. The management does not charge for reasonable wear and tear in the apartment, such as hanging paintings on the wall, etc. However, in the case the tenant painted their apartment in a different color paint, the management will charge, in the event that additional layers of paint is needed in order to restore the original color ($100.00 a for every additional layer). The tenant is more them welcome to paint their apartment them selves, back to the original color the received the apartment with. Management found, that some tenant in the attempt to paint their apartment stained the hardwood floors with paint drops, which then the management had to sand, seal and re-poly the hardwood floors at the apartments.
