It depends on what you mean as "best." It's all relative. I mean, some people might prefer to live in a crack den. Are you talking latest tech/asthetics, are you talking price, safety? It also depends on WHERE in Sacramento you are trying to move to. My personal preference is the Arden area and I like the Fairway Commons apts on Watt Ave. It's all enclosed (including parking), it's quiet, safe and a fair price. It's an older building, so it's not the prettiest place in Sac, but it has its charms. A lot of the tenants are elderly people, but they are polite and leave you alone.

I am looking for overall standards such as : safety (no gang bangers), noise level, price (from $850-1000), kids friendly neighborhood and close to elementary schools. I used to live in Roseville, CA and I really like it there; eventhough, the place we used to live is not all great but it's quiet. But I don't know if its still the same way as before now in Sacramento. Have you lived in this apt? Do you any nice duplex or townhouse in Elk Grove, Ca?
