"Indirect Heat" and other heating issues.
As of January, my Apartment Complex added a Utility Rider to our Rent. With this, it states that part of the heating costs include "Indirect Heat", which is the heat that rises from the boilers and pipes. This is something that cannot be regulated nor metered so, how is this legal?
Also, the first bill we received was at $105, $7 of which was not listed in the bill and the company has refused to rectify it. Now, this second bill is $149, even though we modified our usage and used less, which is stated on the bill. Why am I paying more for using less?
