we got our own roach traps and it pretty much solved the problem...but really there are better apartments out there. i don't know if they've posted new pictures, but they just painted over their nice brick with this crap color brown. what they were trying to do...not really sure...i was embarrassed to invite people over after they painted them..it makes them look a lot cheaper, yet they charge $1000 for a 3 bedroom. they said they raised the price to pay for improvements...haha..i haven't seen any...and you'd think they could fix the gate with the money, but its been broken pretty much the whole time i've lived there

Yes, tyler4911, the roach problem is still there. Maybe getting worse. Roaches invaded our unit in March and we battled them heroically for nearly 4 months until we gave up and moved out a few weeks ago. Some of our other neighbors in building 5 also had roaches.

It depends on what building you are in. I have been fortunite to not have them in my building but I know they exist in others, I've even seen them.
Roaches are unfortunitly one of the critters that are pretty impossible to get rid of unless they vacate the entire building and bomb it... which as crappy as the management is it will never happen. So the people with roaches need to be carefull to not take them to their new places... or else you get an infestation just like Oak Park has in many buildings. I have had more spiders and mosquitos than anything else.
