How is the sound-proofing in these apartments? Is there much disturbance from neighbors, freeway, downtown activity...?

I notice this apartment is recommended by most reviewers, but has a mediocre "noise" rating. I am thinking of moving here in the autumn, and this is a difficult issue to assess prior to actually staying overnight in one of the flats!

this backyard is nasty (this is not the only one) a pit bull lives here and the lease says no dogs more that 30lbs this dogs barks ALL the time and at kids too. Yards should be kept up with and its not. ( you cant see but there is dog poo everywhere).
