I moved out of the building and LA about a year ago and at that time the pool still wasn't open to residents. That was after being told by management that it was to open approximately six months earlier but they were having problems with permits from the city. If you're going to be on the Normandie facing side, be prepared to endure some nightime and early morning noise...ie: beeping horns, ice cream truck, screaming kids, etc... The laundry room is awful! Despite these things, the building was close to the metro red line and within walking distance to some really good restaurants. I hope all goes well.

We've got a fitness center, though it's nothing too amazing (at least it has cable TV and air-conditioning). There are three cardio machines (only one of which functions properly) and two weight benches, along with weights and some Pilates balls. Your best bet is to join 24 Hour Fitness, which is a 10-minute walk down Wilshire; there's another 24 Hour downtown, just an 8-minute subway ride away, along with another one at the Arclight, a 15-minute subway ride and a 10-minute walk away.

Anything else I should know? any other advise? I will be in the back north corner so noise should not be as bad i hope. Is parking a true Nightmare? do you find parking in the streets at all? ever? I don't mind walking a bit if I have to park a bit far
