I would like to know what is the safest area in Indianapolis?

I am moving to Indianapolis and looking for apartments near the airport

I lived around Indy for 20 years. You want to get out of the city on the West side. I recommend Avon, Brownsburg, and Plainfield. Plainfield is closest to the airport. I like Brownsburg the best but that is just a personal choice. They are all pretty nice.

The areas I named are Western suburbs if Indy. They are all just as nice as the North or Northeast side of Indy and are in fact much closer to the airport which was another requirement in the post. Plainfield and Avon are 10-15 minutes to drive while North and Northeast are 30-40 minutes and you have to get in the 465 mess.

I would say north or northeast. I live northeast and I feel Pretty safe. The person Who answered your question first dosen't listen he said What is the safest area of INDIANAPOLIS Not Indiana you named a bunch of other cities
