Unfortunately "feelings" don't negate contracts. The community is in no way, shape or form required to provide security for their residents. Unless there is something specific that the apartment mangement is refusing to address there is no way you are going to get out of your lease without some sort of financial penalty. The parking situation is a bummer but they are not required to build more spots.
