My BGE bill is usually about 100 in the winter and more like 150 in the summer. I keep it cool year round- 65 in winter and 70 in summer. I live in the level above walk-in level. The water bill is never more than 30 per month, with two people showering daily and doing several loads of laundry per week. Hope this helps. We are very happy with the apartment complex.

Maintenance was terrible - we had to have our dryer replaced - twice - and still we had to dry our clothes through two cycles. The stove went and had to be replaced. The electricity was a mess (2/3 of the apartment was running on one breaker) - everytime we tried to use the microwave at the same time as the tv the power would blow. And it may sound low, but truth be told, the maintenance people that worked there were so sketchy I felt very uncomfortable if my wife had to call them when I wasn't home.

Also, the water heaters are so small, forget about two simultaneous showers.

The parking is a mess - most nights when I got home from work I had to park quite a distance away.

Oh, and the insulation is so terrible that you can hear everything going on above/below/next to you.

We moved in there to save a couple hundred a month thinking it was a good deal. It would have definitely been worth a few more bucks a month to be anywhere else.

Our electric bills (lived there until early this past spring) were consistently at least $200/mo. in a 2 bed/2 bath. Water bill was usually around 30/mo.

BUT, your utility bills would be the least of your problems... find a way to get out of that lease and go elsewhere, for the money there are far better places in annapolis.

Yeah, I have read all the stuff about it and had my doubts. I still do. We live at stone point right now, but the prices are far too high. What was so bad about it? I heard about problems with maintenance and stuff. any info will help.
