YES! My husband and I had a horrible experience there. The service is slow, the fixtures and equipment have not been updated in more than 10 years, and their customer service is lacking (property manager is more concerned with how much hairspray is in her gross hair, while smoking out at the pool near KIDS).

Don't get me wrong. I love my apt. and yes I have looked around at others and you will not find another one like this. This one is big and 1 floor. That is why we have been here 4 years. But, the situation now is not worth staying. I want to live in a place where I count, not just another renter. I have never had any problems with noise or parking and I love my neighbors, they are the ones I am going to miss.

Absolutely do not move here! The current property manager is unprofessional and totally lacking in interpersonal and customer service skills. She believes the resident is always wrong! Her answer is always no! Please read the reviews that have been posted and you'll know this is not where you want to call home! Thankfully, my children and I have not been subjected to her totally inappropriate behavior at the pool. However, I will make an official report to the corporate office if we are in the future. We are not renewing our lease.

Look around at what's available in this price range and size and you won't find much. I know Halcyon has gone down recently and the prior property manager was a gem, (current one not so much) but I've looked at everything around and the places that have openings either are high rises, very expensive or small. If you can get an upstairs unit in the back that is in good condition for under 750 a month I would take it. If it needs work tell them you won't take possession or sign the lease until the work is complete. I promise you if you don't the work will NOT get done.

Noise used to never be a problem here, but for some reason it has become a problem recently. Not terrible, but this was a very quiet cozy place last summer, but we have a lot of people moving in and out and it has become more of a problem. Its not bad enough to run me off, but if you are sensitive to that and need real peace and quiet this place might not be for you. Pretty much after 10 pm it is quiet though.

There is also no dedicated parking. It's first come, first served. I've had to park quite a distance from my apartment occasionally. Again, if that is something that bothers you (or you are disabled somehow) I would look elsewhere.
