Can I break my lease if the apartments used false advertising?

Asked 194 days ago

The propery manager told me the townhome community had just been built in the year 2000. When I moved in I could clearly see this place was at least 20 years old.The place is falling apart and the appliances and fixtures are very old.The manager also assured me there were no mold problems as I told him my son is extremely allergic to mold.Well,I opened the closet and there is mold growing on the wall.

Is it the age of the property or the mold that has you concerned. I would be concerned about the mold. It seems your just looking for an excuse to break your lease and your faking problems that just lame.
