Parking situation?
Can someone enlighten me on the parking situation?
Do you pay extra for assigned parking? First come/first serve? If so, difficult to get a spot?
My husband and I are looking at this complex from afar. We'll have two vehicles.
Thanks!

There is no assigned parking and it is free. Depending on where exactly your building is located parking can be ample or tight. Only time I ever had difficulty getting a spot was if I came home late at night (like...midnight or later). On a typical day, I was able to get a spot right in front of my apartment (and I lived in a building where parking ran a little tight). There are some buildings (to right of leasing office as you come in) that have an over abundance of parking spaces. You would NEVER have a problem parking there. :)
Oh, but recently they started adding all these handicapped spaces that took up prime spots that made the parking situation a little stickier. It would have been fine except that the guy who got the handicapped spot in my building didn't drive. The spot remained empty 95% of the time (his family parked there when visiting).

jef3r is right. The only time you won't be able to park nearby your building is if you come back late. Usually there are spots available near the leasing office if you get back after 11pm. My wife and I had two cars and didn't have much of a problem. All parking is first come first serve.
