The Building (eleven80) Population (Who lives there?)



My husband and I are seriously thinking of living in 1180. We are yuppies (self-admitted; I know the name gets a bad rap but that is what we are), in our late-20s and a mixed couple. We like the location because it is close to where we will both be working but want to hear from people who live there now. Do you feel safe living there? Are the neighbours friendly? Basically, is there much of a community? From what I have read, one cannot count on the outside (surrounding area) as community so we want to know about the people who live in the building and what living there is like. Also, if you have experience parking in the garage next door (management said it is next door or across the street--cannot remember--and costs $200 per mo.), please share what that is like.
