Asked 90 days ago

I am just about to sign a lease there and I have now found very bad ratings from previous tenants.

My experience of the place was slashed tires by teenagers running everywhere at night, cars egged, stuff on decks destroyed, drug realing everywhere. Management did not care. Cops were always there!
They do have new management now, but I would not move back!
Make sure the units are done. When we lived there, the units were re-done and construction everywhere. Pepople on our deck early in the morning, steps up to appartment gone one day (had to wait hours to get back in). Water turned off without notice. A lot of strange pepople everywhere. Not safe at all! Got chased by a mentally ill woman who tried to run me and my dog over in her white PT cruiser. Loud parties. People breaking in to the pools in the middle of the night. Stuff stolen etc. Just a very unsafe place to live.
I would look around. But it might be better now, but I doubt it.
GOOD LUCK!!

In a word, no. Look elsewhere.
As another person said, there IS new management there, but I would NEVER risk living there again. The 10% Recommendation is VERY high.

I lived there for 4 years, and when the new management came on board, everything went downhill! They got rid of the office staff that had all been there for 4 years or longer, replacing them with people who didn't know what they were doing, and that didn't care. The other answer about all the strange people everywhere is completely true...the place was a mud pit on some of the property for the longest time. No sidewalks, and they didn't think to put in alternate walking areas for people to get around. Plus, in a lot of the apartments, if it rained, your house poured! They kept saying they would fix things, but it never happened while I was there. So my advice is to look elsewhere!! FAST!!!!

DO NOT SIGN A LEASE WITH THIS COMPLEX!!! Please read my review of the complex. My husband and I needed to get into the Parkway School District for a special needs child and this was the cheapest way to do so. YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR, THERE IS A REASON THE RENT AT THIS COMPLEX IS THE LOWEST IN CREVE COEUR AND A REASON WHY THEY GIVE SPECIALS (1st month free, etc.). For your own safety and peace of mind it is worth it to look elsewhere. If you want another opinion, call the Creve Coeur Police Department and ask them how many and what type of calls they get at this complex. We lived there a year and called "911" five times. We have since found a nice home in a beautiful area on the outskirts of Creve Coeur. Our rent here is cheaper than it was in our apartment. DO YOURSELF A FAVOR AND SHOP AROUND!!!!
