Garden or High rise

Asked 512 days ago

I was considering moving to Carriage Hill. I was wondering which of the two apartment buildings styles was a better choice to live in.

I will consider the mid rise. For the mid-rise, you don't hear the neighbor's TV, their kids screaming, and all types of noises because the walls between the apartments are concrete. In addition, each floor has their own trash shoot and laundry room although a single washer and dryer for each floor though and ample parking. Also, some apartments have two or more balconies. One in the living room and each in the bedrooms. However, it's more expensive than the garden apartments and sometimes, there's a long waiting list. We had to wait three months to get the apartment.

The garden has paper-thin wall and you can hear all types of your neighbor's business and parking can be horrible. It's also spacious as well. Carriage Hill is quiet, peaceful and metro accessible. I hope this helps

I lived in the garden apartments and it was horrible. So, not sure how mid-rise living is, but garden apt living sucks. The management is really bad though and a lot of the other issues, including the pool, visitation and parking are present regardless of where you live.
