you probably need to respect elders' desire to have a peaceful and quiet envirement to live in. If you really are that concerned about your kids not having enough fun and want them to have the ability to run around like wild and crazy animals, then perhaps you should consider buying a place of your own instead of living in an apartment.

I totally agree with the answer from ihoo on 5/20/08. Apartments are not the place for kids "to be kids". Unfortunately, maybe the elders aren't so horrible, maybe they don't want to live in a zoo; or even if not a zoo maybe they have reached the age where they don't want to deal with kids, that's why they are living in a place like BT which is geared to handicapped and elderly based on it's layout(no families). That's one of the reasons I left BT, it became "kiddie land". Kids would play in the lobby, the laundry room and the worst was the morning when they would gather in the lobby and wait for the bus -- what a zoo. I don't know why management ever allowed the school bus to pull in; years back the bus picked up the kids at Meyer Road and that was the best ... the school bus doesn't pull into your driveway, does it?

As far as the office staff, they are all horrible -- all of them. Years ago when Mr. Goodman was manager it was a different environment. Today they make fun of the tenants right to your face and no one cares. Linda was new not that long ago and she is one of the worst, but Patty and the office secretary are just as bad.

But I agree that the answer to your problem is buy your own place or get an apartment where you are not sharing common hall and laundry rooms with others. That way you don't have to interact with the other tenants.
