1. The area is as safe as you can get in Philadelphia. There is a Police Station less than a quarter of a mile down Belmont from Beekman. Great parking lot lighting and secure garage parking for an additional $40 a month, closed circuit cameras at every entrance that are watched by the old people in the building 24/7 and would call the police immediately of any suspicious activity.

2. It is only handicap accessible from the side entrance and once inside it is fully handicap accessible to all floors including secure garage parking via elevator. The main entrance is a handicap nightmare: stairs only going down, two heavy doors, and then stairs going up to the main floor once inside.
