I had nothing but problems there. First, I hurried in to sign the lease and pick up my key right before the office closed. My U-Haul and move-in helpers were waiting outside the office. I had just cashed my check (to pay the guys that were helping move in my furniture and pay bills)and had ALL of the cash inside my checkbook...just carried my checkbook into the office. When it came time to write the check, I took the cash out and set it next to me, on the chair (under my leg). I signed off on a bunch of pages, got up and walked out of the office just as the office manager's boyfriend walked in and the doors were locked behind me. As soon as I got to the truck, I remembered that my money was still on the chair. I immediately ran back up to the doors and I could see them inside the glass enclosed area. I knocked until the girl came to the door and insisted that there was no money in the office. I was not allowed back inside, so I was out a weeks worth of pay! Than, when I got into the apartment, there was still furniture in it..the carpets were nasty and the walls were dirty. I thought they gave me the wrong key! When my lease was about to be up, I gave written notice before my lease was up, and paid for the entire month, although I moved out early. We shampooed the carpets, scrubbed the walls and sanitized the bathrooms..it look really good! Than we requested a walk through. The girl in the office told me that no one was available for a walk though, so months later it showed on my credit report that I owed the Beachclub $480. When I asked them why, they said they couldn't tell me and gave me a long distance number to call!! The entire time I lived there it went downhill..a lower class of people moved in and a lot of police showing up. The water was being used for trash, and someone was killing the ducks. There were homeless people living in the woods behind the apartments and they would show up around the complex...they even started a huge fire the the woods and afew of the residents along the woods had to be evacuated. The water sprinklers were coming on at all hours..even in the rain, and we had a water leak in our ceiling that never got fixed. I could go on and on!! A few of the people were nice, but they all wanted OUT!! There are ALOT of nicer and less expensive apartments in the area, I wouldn't go back there. Good Luck!
