I rated an apartment "Oaks of Charleston, in Houston,TX on 3/10/08 at Apartmentratings.com but review has not yet been posted and you need to warn people moving into those complex.
Are rating controlled by that management?

Ratings on apartmentratings.com are not controlled by management companies. I once posted a review and for some reason it was listed under a date in the past. For example, I had writen a review on March 1st, and it had posted as if I had writen it weeks prior. Don't know why this happened but it did. So look for your rating under the dates in the past month or so. If your complex has an account here, they are able to view the ratings and respond to them--but to my knowledge they are not able to edit thier content or delete them. Hope this helps!

Your rating could have been removed if you personally identified someone, used profanity, made slanderous claims or otherwise violated the user agreement. Management companies do look at their ratings and can request reviews be removed, but they will only be removed if you have violated the user agreement set forth by Apartmentratings.com. And no, management cannot edit their content.
